2012 Pinewood Derby® National Championship!

Pinewood Derby® racing is a huge event for many different organizations all over the Country with hundreds of thousands of cars being raced each year.  The competition is fierce but there has always been something missing... a race to crown a National Champion!  The leader in the industry, Pinewood Derby DerbyDad4Hire has stepped up to bring you the third annual official National Pinewood Championship race to find the best of the best.  The National Championship race will be sanctioned by the leader in Pinewood Derby® league racing NPWDRL!  The results will count towards the league points standings. There will be 5 different classes to choose from that will accommodate nearly any Pinewood Derby® car ever built.  From here on out every year this will be the climax of the Pinewood Derby season! 

June 16th, 2012 come live or send your cars in to be raced by proxy!

The biggest challenge of holding a National event is getting the best together in one location.  EVERYONE is welcome to come race!  If you can't make it live you can send your car to be raced by proxy.  Your cars will be handled by experienced Pinewood Derby® professionals to ensure the safety of your Pinewood Derby® car.  If you are unsure how to mail them safely click here for a simple, safe and affordable method.

Tech in begins: Saturday June 16th at 9am with racing ensuing after all cars are teched in.
All proxy cars must be received by Friday June 15th.

The race will be held at the new headquarters for Pinewood Derby® racing.  Located 40 minutes from a major airport and with plenty of hotel accommodations, it will be simple to make travel arrangements if you can join us live.  The event will also be broadcast live over the internet for the proxy racers to watch in and catch the action as it happens.  The race will be held on the Nationally famous Rocky Mountain Speedway state of the art 2 lane Best Track to ensure a consistent fair race for all entrants.
